"Est of Thos Dukes
To Mary Dukes Greeting
Whereas Thomas Dukes of the sd County planter died within the same Intestate whereby the power of granting administration of all and Singular the Goods and Chattles Rights and Credits of the said Thomas Dukes within this State and also auditing the Accounts and Reckonings of the said administration and a final dismission thereof to us Belongs In Ordor that the sd Goods and Chattels Rights & Credits may well and truly be administred We do hereby Grant unto you the sd Mary Dukes (upon special Trust and Confidence full power by the Tenors of these presents to administer all and singular the goods & Chattels Rights and Credits of the sd deceased which to him in his lifetime did belong to ask for levy and receive the same, and to pay the debts in which the sd deceased stood obliged, so far forth as his Goods and Chattels Rights & Credits will extend being first duly sworn on the Holy -- Evangelists of Almighty God, to make a true and perfect inventory thereof and also to Exhibit the same into the Office of the Clerk of our County Court in order to be recorded in or before the 12th day of June next, By order of the Court
