Pursuant to a precept from John B???? Esq Dep Sur Ge dated the 1st day of Dec'r 1772, I have Surveyed and laid out unto Thomas Duke a plantation or tract of land containing one hundred acres situate in Craven County on the waters of the Twenty five Mile Creek being a branch of the Wateree River Bounding NE'rd part on William Fergusons land and part on vacant, NW'rd on vacant land SW'rd part on Wm Simmons land and part vacant, and SE'rd on vacant land -- having such form and marks as appears by the above plat
