"South Carolina
I have caused to be admeasured & laid out unto Reubin Stark two Islands containing sixteen acres on the No'E'st Side of Catawba River opposite to Tho. Thompson's, Widow Dukes Land situated Camden District & hath such form Marks Buttings & Boundings as the above Plat represents. Certified for the 21st day of May 1785

TLC Notes: The plat shows two islands close to the northestern side of the Catawba River. The southern-most island contains 8.5 acres and the southern half of it is southwest of the Widow Dukes land. The northern-most island contains 7.5 acres. All of the northern and part of the southern island is southwest of Thompson's land.
