"Know all men by these presents that we George Wade & Federick Kimbal of the State of South Carolina and Camden district are Jointly and severally holden and firmly Obliged to Henry Hampton Esquire Ordinary of the said District, in the full & Just sum of Three thousand pounds Sterling to be paid unto the said Henry Hampton or his Successor for the time being, in the said office. Attorney or Asigns the which payment well & truly to be made we bind ourselves and each & every of us Jointly Severally & firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated Camden this Thirtieth Day of April An'o Domina One thousand Seven hundred & Eighty Four, and in the Eight year of American Independance --

Whereas Administration of all & Singular the goods Chattels rights & Credits of Robert Dukes late of the said district deceased were lately granted by the said Henry Hampton Esq. unto the sd George Wade

Now the Condition of this Obligation is such that if the said George Wade shall and do well & truly Administer all & Singular the Goods & Chattels Rights & Credits, which were of the Said deceased, and which shall come into the hands of the said George Wade to be Administered & make distribution of all that shall remain after payment of the said Robert Dukes Debts & funeral expences in a due course of law; Then This Obligation to be Void, , Otherwise to remain in full force & Virtue"
