"So Carolina
pursuant to a Warrant from Sam'l W. Yongue Com'r of Land For Fair. District, dated 18th April 1816, I have admeasured & laid out unto Moses Duke a Tract of Land containing forty five Acres, Situate in said District, on the Waters of twenty five Mile Creek, Waters of Wateree River, bounded SW. & SE. by Wm Simmons; NW & NE by Thos. Dukes Lands, & hath such forms and marks as above plat represents -- surveyed 16th April 1816
