Pursuant a warrant from John Winn Esq Court ??? for Camden Dist I have laid out unto Moses Duke a tract of Land containing one thousand acres situate on the waters of Singleton Creek Wateree River and hath such shape and marks as the Above plat represents -- Surv'd 9th July 1787, record 7th Aug

TLC Notes: The plat with the survey shows Moses Duke's 1000 acre tract as having eight sides yet being roughly diamond-shaped. It is bounded to the southwest on John Gillespie's land and to the northeast on John Dunn's land. Other adjacent land is vacant.
