"South Carolina.

I Have caused to be admeasured and laid out unto Francis Boykin a Tract of Land containing One hundred and thirty five Acres situate in the District of Camden on Springs and Drains of Dry Creek and CampCreek and hath such Form and Marks, butting and bounding as the above Plat represents. Certified for the Seventeenth Day of December 1784

TLC Notes: The plat has a rough 'A' shape, with one leg extending to the south, the other to the southeast. The legs of the Boykin land form the northwest corner of Robert Dukes land and border it on the northwest and northeast sides. Boykin's northeastern neighbor is James Rogers. The northwestern neighbor is David Nelson. The western side of the plat borders other land owned by Francis Boykin. The neighbor on the southwestern end of the south leg is Wm Ashley. Wm Magera's land is at the end of the southeastern leg.
