"South Carolina.

I Have caused to be admeasured and laid out unto Francis Boykin a Tract of Land containing One hundred and fifty Acres situate in the District of Camden on a branch of Dry Creek waters of CampCreek NE Side of Catawba River and hath such Form and Marks, butting and bounding as the above Plat represents. Certified for the 8th Day of November 1784

TLC Notes: The plat is square, canted at a 38 degree angle to the northeast. Neighbors to the southeast are Robert Duke and David Nelson, to the southwest William Ashley, northwest, Francis Boykin, and to the northeast, David Nelson. A branch of Dry Creek runs diagonally through the plat.
