Barnwell District Deeds, Book A, page 223, Deed conveyance, Woods to Duke
Lucy Woods to Moses Dukes, both of Orangeburg District, 100 pounds Sterling for 100 acres on Toby's Creek on January 30, 1798. Original plat dated April 3, 1786 to Absalom Causey. The conveyance was witnessed by John Duke and Micajah Hughes and recorded January 1, 1801.
