Fairfield District, SC Deed Book ?, pages 87-89

"State of South Carolina
This Indenture made the twenty Eight day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty nine and in the fourteenth Year of the Independence of the united states of North America Between Samuel Sorsby of the of North Carolina planter of the one part and william Sorsby of the above mentioned state and County of Fairfield planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Sorsby for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds Sterling to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted Bargained sold aliened demised released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien demise? release and Confirm unto the said William Sorsby in his Actual possession now being by virtue of a Bargain & Sale to him thereof made for one whole? year by an Indenture of Lease bearing date the day next before the day of the date hereof and by force of the Statute for transferring uses into possession and to him and his heirs and assigns all that ??? plantation parcel or tract of Land containing 300 acres of Land situate in Camden district on the wateree river the entrance of wateree creek Butting & bounding NE by the s'd river SE by Rich'd Gregory and Joseph Tates S. W. by Tates? and part by vacant lands NW first originally granted unto Rich'd Kirkland under the? hand of The Hon ble James Glin?l dated the the Eleventh Day of May Anno Domini 1764 and lawfully transferred? unto Sam'l Sorsby by Solomon Miles? & George Baiksha?  Together with all and singuler the Houses out houses & whatsoever To the said plantation or tract of land being or in any wise appurtaining and the reversions and ??? remainders and Remainders rents Issues and profits and also all the Estate right title interest possession property Plain and ??? whatsoever ??? or equity of him the said Samuel Sorsby of unto or ??? of the said premises to have and to hold the said Plantation or tract of land hereby granted and released with appurtenances unto the said William Sorsby his heirs and assigns forever and the said Sam'l Sorsby for??? his heirs and assigns forever the said William Sorsby his heirs and assigns ??? ??? into hold occupy possess and enjoy the Plantation or tract of Land & premises without any ??? ??? trouble? molestation interruption of the said Samuel Sorsby his Heirs or other person or persons Lawfully Claim or to Claim by from or under him or his heirs and also that the said Samuel Sorsby and his heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times hereunto at the reasonable request and proper Charges in the Law of the said William Sorsby and his heirs and make do acknowledge and execute or cause to be made done acknowledged and Executed or cause all such further and reasonable acts  and Conveyances & assurances in law whatsoever for the better and more perfect Conveying assigning the said plantation parcel or tract of land and unto the said William Sorsby his heirs and ??? by the said William Sorsby his heirs and or by his or their counsil learned in the Law reasonably devised ??? and required in he the said Samuel Sorsby and his heirs or any? of them the said plantation or tract of land and other the premises unto the said William Sorsby his heirs ??? against him the said Sam'l Sorsby his heirs and assigns Claiming or to Claim by from or under him shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents.  In Witness where of the said Sam'l Sorsby hath humbly? set his hand and seal the above date.
