The abstracts describe a lease and release conveyance of Aaron and Mary Loocock to Archibald Brown involving 200 acres on Beaver Pond Branch of the Wateree River, land originally granted to John Raglan. The land was sold by lease and release, April 24 and 25, 1775, to Henry Duke by the daughters of John Raglan, Mary, wife of William Seismore, and Elizabeth, wife of Adam Duke. On July 24 and 25, 1775, Henry Duke and his wife sold the tract of land to Aaron Loocock.
