Barnwell District Deeds, Book B, pages 235-237 Deed conveyance, Duke to Young
John Dukes to Laurinn Young, both of Barnwell District, $20 for 100 acres on
Toby's Creek waters of Big Saltcatchers River. Surveyed March 12, 1796 and granted to Harriot Dukes on October 9, 1796. It is bounded by Laurinn Young's land. Conveyance was made June 11, 1802, recorded Sept 2, 1805. It was witnessed by Nathaniel Perrin, John McDonald, and George Latham.
TLC Notes: The only Harriot Dukes plat on record is for 450 acres on Toby's Creek, dated September 10, 1796, SC Dept of Archives entry number 0009-008-00032-00664-01
