"The State of South Carolina Know all Men by these Presents that I Samuel Cranshaw of the State of Georgia Jackson County Planter for and in Consideration of the sum of two Hundred Dollars to me paid by Henry Horton of Lancaster District in the State of south Carolina aforesaid Planter have granted Bargained sold and released and by these Presents do grant Bargain sell and release unto the S'd Henry Horton all that Tract or Parcel of Land containing one hundred and thirteen Acres more or less lying and being in Lancaster District on the Springs and Drains of dry Creek bounded E by Wm McGruak's land, N. by James Roger's Land, N. W. by Land Laid out to David Nelson W.,S., & S. E. by Robert Dukes land and hath such shape form and makes as the Plat Anexed to the grant represents Originally granted to Francis Boykin the 5th day of June in the Year 1786 recorded in Secretary's Office in Grant Book LLLL together with all and singular the Rights Members hereditimennt and Appurtences as to the said premices belonging or in any wise Incident or appurtaining to have and to hold all and Singular the Premises before mentioned unto the said Henry Horton his Heirs and Assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself my Heirs Executors and Administors to warrant and forever defend all and Singular the said premises unto the said Henry Horton his Heirs and Assigns against my self and my heirs and against every Person whomsoever Lawfully Claiming or to Claim the Same or any Part thereof Witness my hand Seal this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven and in the thirty first year of the Independence of the Unighted States of America
