Letter of Administration to William Nettles, Junior for the Burrel Burge estate dated July 17, 1797. Inventory to be returned to court on or before July 16,1798. Witness was Samuel Wharton Yongue, the Fairfield Court Clerk.

An administrative bond of 1000 pounds sterling was made by William Nettles. Signed and sealed by William Nettles (Junior), James Harte, and William (his x mark) Nettles (Senior). Dated July 17, 1797 and witnessed by S. W. Yongue.

Authorization for an appraisement of Burrell Burge's estate was made by the Honorable Judges of the County Court of Fairfield. "For you or any three or four of you." Names listed are: Reubin Harrison, Richard Burge, Zachariah Nettles, John Boykin, and Alexander Erwin. The latter three were chosen.
Authorization was dated July 17, 1797. The appraisement was to be turned over to William Nettles by October 16, 1797. The appraisers were sworn in by Charles Pickett on July 22, 1797.
